Case Study
A website project for Ben Guard Pediatrics in the Pediatric medical devices sector.
Ben Guard Pediatrics makes wearables that protect the lines and tubes used in pediatric care. The company started with a family's experience during their son Benjamin's cancer treatment, when central-line complications kept getting in the way of care.
Parents, hospital teams, and home-care providers needed one place to understand the garments, download clinical documentation and reimbursement guides, and read guidance the team stands behind. A generic product page would not do that, and every update could not wait on a developer.
The public site is still in final development. This write-up covers the system being finished. It does not report traffic or sales after launch, because those numbers do not exist yet.
We built a fast, mobile-first site on Next.js and Sanity so the team can publish the resource library, clinical documents, and family-focused articles themselves.
The Connect and Protect garments — pieces for central lines, G/J tubes, and tracheostomies — are explained for the people who actually use them: parents, clinicians, and home-care providers. Clinical access stays part of the story. The garment is designed so a care team can reach a line or tube without taking it off.
What the site does not do is answer medical questions on its own. Approved documents are published. Clinical advice stays with the care team. That limit is intentional.
